ABOUT

Different goals. Same standard of coaching.

4 Rings Fitness exists to help people become stronger in every area of life — through strength training, martial arts, coaching, education and community.

MISSION

4 Rings Fitness exists to help people become stronger in every area of life. Through strength training, martial arts, coaching, education and community, we meet people where they are and help them build the capability, confidence and consistency to live better.

VISION

To build a training community where people of all backgrounds can develop the strength, confidence, discipline and relationships needed to live healthier, more capable lives for the long term.

The Four Rings

Physical. Mental. Spiritual. Social.

These four areas are the foundation of 4 Rings Fitness and give the company its name. Fitness is not simply about what you can lift or how you look — it is about developing a stronger, more capable person.

Physical

Strength, resilience, movement, and the ability to keep doing the things that matter throughout life.

Mental

Discipline, confidence, consistency, accountability, and the ability to keep going when motivation is low.

Spiritual

Purpose, values, meaning — understanding why the work matters beyond the gym.

Social

Community, leadership, mentorship, training partners, and relationships that make people better together.

FOUNDER  & COACH

Wayne Johnson

Wayne began lifting weights at 13 to become stronger and faster for football. What started as athletic preparation became a lifelong commitment to strength, performance and personal development. Through decades of changing fitness trends, one lesson has remained constant: lasting progress comes less from finding the perfect program than from consistently doing the work.

At 20 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving 21 years and retiring as a First Sergeant. Those years reinforced an approach to coaching he still follows: set a clear standard, teach people why the work matters, meet them where they are, and help them become capable of doing more than they thought they could.

Wayne is a second-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He doesn't believe everyone needs to train like an athlete, a Marine or a competitor. Good coaching starts by understanding what a person needs their body to do.

For one person that means becoming stronger, faster and more resilient for competition, military service or demanding work. For another it means maintaining muscle, mobility and independence well into their 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond. The goals look different. The standard of coaching should not.

Performance, longevity & community

A private performance environment with a strong coaching focus, serving serious athletes and people who simply want to stay strong, healthy and capable for life.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Progress doesn't begin with perfection.

It begins with showing up. People come to fitness from different starting points — to get stronger, to lose weight, to improve athletic performance, to prepare for military fitness requirements, to learn jiu-jitsu, to rebuild confidence, to come back from a setback, or simply to stay active and independent.

The goal is not to make everyone train the same way. It's to meet people where they are, help them train with purpose, and give them the knowledge, coaching and environment they need to keep improving. You don't have to be the strongest person in the room. You just have to take the first step and keep coming back.

JUST SHOW UP.

Just Show Up

Ready to show up?

Active members train on their own schedule with 24-hour access through the GymMaster app. The gym is owner-operated, so it isn't staffed around the clock — if you'd like a tour or want to visit outside the typical staffed hours, an appointment can be arranged in advance.

A small, high-touch coaching environment in Okinawa City built around strength, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, personal training, and a community that keeps showing up.
