Our gym is designed to give members the freedom to train independently while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment. These rules apply to all members and guests.
Section One
Strength Training Area & General Gym Rules
01
Be courteous. Respect everyone.
Treat every member, guest, trainer, and staff member with respect. We want 4 Rings Fitness to be a welcoming place where everyone feels comfortable training.

02
Social media & filming are welcome — respect others.
Photos, videos, and social media content are welcome. However, do not intentionally embarrass, ridicule, shame, or portray another person negatively without their consent. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination of membership.
03
Put your weights & equipment back.
When you're finished, return weights, plates, dumbbells, bars, bands, and other equipment to their designated locations. Leave the gym ready for the next person.
04
Clean up after yourself.
Wipe down equipment after use and dispose of trash properly. If you make a mess, clean it up.
05
No tailgating / unauthorized entry.
Do not provide gym access to another person or allow someone to enter under your membership or access credentials. Members and visitors entering the gym independently must have their own active membership, day pass, traveler pass, or other authorized access. An individual access pass is not required when entering specifically for a scheduled Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class, personal training session, independent trainer session, seminar, or other organized activity where a coach or trainer is present and responsible for access. During unstaffed hours, everyone training independently must have their own authorized access. This allows us to maintain an accurate record of who is using the facility and helps protect the security of our members and the gym. A first violation may result in a warning. Subsequent violations may result in termination of membership.
06
Train safely & respect the equipment.
Use equipment for its intended purpose and train within your abilities. Do not intentionally damage, abuse, or misuse gym equipment.
07
Control your weights.
Heavy training is welcome. Unnecessary or careless dropping or throwing of weights is not. Use the appropriate training area and equipment for the exercise you're performing.
08
Share the space.
Be aware of other members. Don't unnecessarily occupy multiple pieces of equipment during busy periods, and allow others to work in when practical.
09
Keep personal belongings out of training areas.
Keep bags, shoes, and other personal items where they won't create a trip hazard or interfere with another member's workout.
10
Report problems.
If equipment is damaged, something is unsafe, or you notice a problem with the facility, please report it as soon as possible. Don't assume someone else will.
11
Your access is personal.
Your GymMaster account, entry credentials, QR code, or other access method is for your use only. Do not share your account or access credentials with another person.
12
Just show up — and leave the gym better than you found it.
Train hard. Respect the people around you. Take care of the facility. Help us build the kind of gym community you want to be part of.
Section Two
Mat Room & Martial Arts Area
01
No outdoor shoes on the blue mats.
Outdoor shoes are never permitted on the blue mat area. Help us keep the mats clean and sanitary.
02
Appropriate mat footwear only.

Bare feet and clean wrestling/grappling shoes are welcome on the mats. Clean socks are permitted, but not recommended due to the increased risk of slipping.
03
Martial arts training is welcome.
Members are welcome to use the mat area for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, grappling, striking drills, mobility work, and other appropriate martial arts training when the area is available.
04
Kettlebell training is allowed.
Kettlebells may be used on the blue mats. No other weighted equipment is permitted on the mats. Do not intentionally slam or drop kettlebells onto the mats, especially from overhead. Dropping kettlebells can damage the mats and the flooring underneath. Maintain control of the kettlebell throughout your training.
05
Train safely.
Be aware of your surroundings and the people training around you. Train within your abilities and use appropriate control when working with a partner.
06
Respect your training partners.
Train to learn and improve, not to injure someone. Use control, respect the tap, and immediately stop when your training partner submits or asks you to stop.
07
Keep the mats clean & dry.
If you sweat heavily or leave sweat on the mats, please use the dry mop located in the mat area to wipe down the area when you are finished. Leave the mats clean and dry for the next person.
08
Practice good hygiene.
09
Wear clean training clothing and use clean training equipment. Do not train on the mats with visibly dirty clothing or equipment.
No food or open drinks on the mats.
Keep food, open drinks, dirty equipment, and anything that could spill or damage the mats off the blue mat area.
10
Protect the training area.
Do not bring or place equipment on the mats that could tear, puncture, stain, or otherwise damage them.
11
Classes have priority.
Scheduled martial arts classes, strength sessions, seminars, and other organized activities have priority use of the mat area during their scheduled times.
12
When in doubt — be safe.
The mat room is here to be used. Train, practice, and have fun, but don't unnecessarily put yourself, another member, or the facility at risk.
JUST SHOW UP.
4 Rings Fitness is a place to train, learn, improve, and be part of a community. Respect each other. Take care of the gym. Train safely. Leave the facility better than you found it.
Just Show Up
Ready to show up?
Active members train on their own schedule with 24-hour access through the GymMaster app. The gym is owner-operated, so it isn't staffed around the clock — if you'd like a tour or want to visit outside the typical staffed hours, an appointment can be arranged in advance.
